Details:
On or about Monday, December 6th, 2021, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle claimed the life of one man. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along Siempre Vive Road in Otay Mesa, California.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were driving allegedly struck the side of a tractor-trailer that was attempting a U-turn and blocking the lanes of Siempre Vive Road. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of the Mexican border.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
