On or about Wednesday, April 21st, 2021, an accident between a car and a parked tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported on South Main Street near Verzier Street in Waterbury, Connecticut.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when their Nissan Altima allegedly veered off the side of South Main Street and struck a parked tractor-trailer. Paramedics rushed the driver of the Altima to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
The intersection of South Main Street and Verzier Street is on the south end of Waterbury, according to Google Maps.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
