On or about Saturday, October 30th, 2021, around 3:41 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Representatives from the WSP said the accident was reported along State Route 730 in Walla Walla County, Washington.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the car they were in allegedly skidded over the center line of SR 730 and slammed into a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the crash. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about a mile from the Oregon state line.
State Police assisted local officials at the scene of the accident.
