On or about Monday, April 18th, 2022, around a major accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left a 22-year-old Indiantown woman dead. Spokespeople from the FHP said the accident was reported along State Road 710 in Martin County, Florida.
Authorities from the Florida Highway Patrol said an as-of-yet unidentified 22-year-old woman was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly crossed over the center line of State Road 710 and slammed into the SUV she was driving. Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is not far from the Okeechobee County line.
Officials are still examining the cause of the collision.
