On or about Saturday, May 14th, 2022, around 12:15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one individual dead. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along State Road 8 in Garrett, Indiana.
Authorities from the Indiana State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the passenger vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along SR 8. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the passenger vehicle dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in the 1700 block of SR 8.
Police are still examining the cause of the crash.
