Details:
On or about Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, around 6:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one individual dead. Authorities from the OSHP said the accident was reported along Highway 127 at Morganthaler Road in St. Clair Township, Ohio.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a steel coil allegedly fell from the back of a tractor-trailer and struck a nearby car. Emergency responders pronounced the driver of the car dead a short time after the accident. No other injuries were reported after the incident.
Officials said the truck is operated by Total Package Express Inc.
Police are still investigating the incident.
