On or about Sunday, March 3rd, 2022, around 4:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Authorities from the PSP said the accident was reported in the 1500 block of Layfield Road in Upper Hanover Township, Pennsylvania.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown conditions along Layfield Road. Emergency responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, Upper Hanover Township is about 49 miles north of downtown Philadelphia.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
