On or about Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, around 5:48 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left one individual dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported near the intersection of Wildcat Drive and Antonio Street in Anthony, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when an SUV and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances near Antonio and Wildcat. Paramedics pronounced one person dead of their injuries a short time after the accident, but officials did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 21 miles north of downtown El Paso.
Police are still looking into the accident.
