On or about Saturday, January 9th, 2021, around 3:45 in the afternoon, an accident between a cyclist and a tractor-trailer left one individual dead. Investigators said the accident happened at or near the intersection of West Wooley Road and South Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard, California.
Law enforcement sources said one person was killed when an 18-wheeler and a cyclist collided under unspecified conditions. Paramedics pronounced at least one person dead of their injuries a short time after the incident. Officers did not elaborate on the specifics of what happened in the incident.
