On or about Saturday, June 11th, 2022, around 2:23 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle left one individual dead. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in Austin, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the motorcycle they were on and a passenger vehicle collided under unknown conditions. After the initial accident, the motorcyclist was hit by at least one other vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Austin.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
