On or about Wednesday, April 21st, 2021, around 11:30 in the morning, a major tractor-trailer pileup accident left one woman dead. Officials said the accident was reported along Interstate 41 just outside Slinger, Wisconsin.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed when thirty vehicles, including several tractor-trailers and 18-wheelers collided in a chain-reaction, pileup accident. Emergency responders pronounced one woman dead of her injuries a short time after the accident, while several others were treated for unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 41 runs north and south through Slinger, which is about 35 miles northwest of downtown Milwaukee.
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene of the accident.
