On or about Monday, January 24th, 2022, around 7:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a work truck left one individual dead and sent two others to the hospital. Officials from the CHP said the accident was reported along the 118 Freeway in Mission Hills, California.
Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a work truck along the 118 Freeway. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the work truck dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Two other individuals were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Officials did not specify which vehicle the injuries victims were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 23 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating.
