On or about Friday, January 28th, 2022, around 5:30 in the morning, an accident between a truck and a pedestrian left a 25-year-old Honduras man dead. Authorities from the EPPD said the accident was reported along Loop 375 near the intersection of Paisano Drive in El Paso, Texas.
Investigators said an as-of-yet unidentified 25-year-old man was killed when he was allegedly hit by a truck as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Loop 375 near Paisano Drive. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southeast side of El Paso.
Police are still investigating the incident.
