Details:
On or about Monday, March 14th, 2022, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent two children to the hospital. Officials from the CHP said the accident was reported along Fox Road at or near the intersection with Bellevue Road in Merced County, California.
Spokespeople from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and two children were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck an SUV that may have run a red light at the intersection of Fox Road and Bellevue Road. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the SUV dead, while the two children in the vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Fox Road and Bellevue Road is a T intersection.
