Details:
On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, around 2:45 in the morning, a serious accident between a pickup truck and an SUV left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 1300 block of East State Highway 121 in Dallas, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and two others were injured when an SUV allegedly struck the rear of a pickup truck, causing the SUV and the pickup to veer off the road and rolled. After the first incident, the SUV was struck by a third pickup truck. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the first pickup truck dead of his injuries at the scene of the accident. The driver of the SUV and the driver of the second pickup truck were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 22 miles northwest of downtown Dallas.
Police are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
