On or about Monday, February 7th, 2022, a serious two-vehicle car accident left one individual dead. Representatives from the Bell County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of Poison Oak Road and Highway 317 in Temple, Texas.
Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 317 and Poison Oak Road when one of them allegedly failed to yield. Emergency responders pronounced one individual dead of their injuries after the accident, while two other individuals were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Officials did not specify which vehicles the victims were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Temple is about 67 miles north of downtown Austin.
Police are still investigating the accident.
