On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, around 11:00 at night, a major two-vehicle car accident left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 20 near the exit for McCart Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas.
Officers from the Fort Worth Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and two others were injured when a passenger vehicle allegedly struck the back of an SUV along I-20. Paramedics pronounced one person in the SUV dead a short time after the accident, while two other occupants were taken to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 20 and McCart Avenue is on the south side of Fort Worth.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers assisted following the accident.
