On or about Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a vehicle that police believe was racing and another car left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of West Green Oaks Boulevard and Lee Drive in Fort Worth, Texas.

Officials said 45-year-old Priscilla Rodriguez was allegedly racing in a Porsche Cayenne when she struck a Honda Accord at Lee Drive and West Green Oaks Boulevard. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the Accord dead, while a 20-year-old passenger and Rodriguez were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Officials said Priscilla Rodriguez currently faces two charges of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury or death in connection with the accident.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
