On or about Thursday, September 16th, 2021, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a pickup truck left one person dead and sent two other people to the hospital. Representatives from the WSP said the accident was reported along State Highway 96 at Blake Road in Wrightstown, Wisconsin.

Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving near the intersection of Highway 96 and Blake Road. Paramedics airlifted the driver of the pickup truck to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Two people in the dump truck were treated for unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, Wrightstown is situated about 18 miles south of downtown Green Bay.

Police are still investigating.
