On or about Friday, June 17th, 2022, around 12:51 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup truck and a dump truck left one person dead and injured two other individuals. Authorities from the SCHP said the accident was reported along River Road in Johns Island, South Carolina.
Spokespeople from the South Carolina Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was killed and two other people were injured when a pickup truck and a dump truck collided under unspecified circumstances along River Rd. One passenger in the pickup truck was pronounced dead of her injuries, while the driver of the pickup truck and the driver of the dump truck were treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
