On or about Monday, November 8th, 2021, around 3:53 in the afternoon, a major accident between an SUV, a van, and a flatbed tow truck left one individual dead and sent two people to the hospital. Investigators from the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Stewart Avenue in East Garden City, New York.
Police officers said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the van they were driving was allegedly hit by a flatbed tow truck after the van had previously collided with an SUV. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the van dead at the scene of the accident, while the driver and a passenger in the SUV were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, East Garden City is situated on the west side of Long Island.
