Details:
On or about Sunday, May 15th, 2022, around 9:00 at night, a serious hit-and-run car accident left one individual dead and sent two other people to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Huron Street in Cleburne, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed, while two others were injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle during a possible altercation along Huron Street. After the initial impact with the pedestrians, the offending vehicle fled the scene of the incident. One person was pronounced dead a short time after the accident, while two other people were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of Cleburne.
Police are still looking for the driver and vehicle that fled the scene.
