On or about Saturday, June 6th, 2021, around 8:10 in the morning, an accident between a tanker truck, a car and a pickup truck left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident happened along Highway 17 in Los Gatos, California.

California Highway Patrol officials said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when a tanker truck allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 17 before it collided with a car and a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene, while one person in the car and the truck driver were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, Highway 17 runs north and south through Los Gatos, which is a few miles south of downtown San Jose.

State and local law enforcement responded to the scene of the accident.
