On or about Monday, May 2nd, 2022, around 6:35 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and injured two other individuals. Representatives from the CHP said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of East Betteravia Road and Philbric Road in Santa Barbara County, California.
Spokespeople from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed and two others were injured when a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances at or near Betteravia and Philbric. One person in the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead, while another occupant in the car and the driver of the tractor-trailer were treated for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
