On or about Monday, August 30th, 2021, around 3:25 in the afternoon, an accident between four tractor-trailers left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Officials from the MSP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Highway 14 in Ann Arbor Township, Michigan.

Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed and two others were injured when four tractor-trailers collided in a chain-reaction accident along Highway 14. Police did not specify how the accident may have started. Emergency responders pronounced one person dead after the accident, while two others were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.

According to Google Maps, Highway 14 runs east and west through Ann Arbor Township, which is about 43 miles west of downtown Detroit.

Officials are still trying to pin down what may have caused the accident.
