Details:
On or about Thursday, January 21st, 2021, around 10:00 at night, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a Dodge Caravan left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on Interstate 37 at Loop 1604 in San Antonio, Texas.
Texas DPS Troopers said an 18-wheeler hauling molasses allegedly crashed off the northbound lanes of Interstate 37 and struck a Dodge Caravan that was traveling westbound on Loop 1604. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the tractor-trailer dead at the scene. EMS transported the driver and passenger of the Caravan to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

Department of Public Safety Troopers and local law enforcement are still investigating the accident.
