Details:
On or about Sunday, July 25th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left one person dead and sent two others to the hospital. Troopers from the TSP said the accident occurred along the southbound side of Interstate 75 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed while two others were hurt when a tractor-trailer allegedly drove off the side of the road and struck a car before the semi slammed into a pole near Paul Huff Parkway. The driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead, while two people in the car were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 75 runs north and south through the center of Cleveland, which is about 32 miles east of Chattanooga.
Police are still investigating the incident.
