Details:
On or about Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021, around 5:41 in the afternoon, an accident between a box truck and a UPS truck left one person dead and sent two people to the hospital. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported at the intersection of County Road 975 West and County Road 400 South in Grant County, Indiana.
Indiana State Police Troopers said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed and two others were rushed to the hospital after a box truck and a UPS delivery truck collided under unknown conditions at the intersection of County Road 975 West and County Road 400 South. The driver of the UPS truck was pronounced dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Paramedics transported two people from the box truck to the hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is located not far from Swayzee, which is about 63 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis.
Multiple agencies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
