Details:
On or about Sunday, May 8th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a van, a pickup truck and an SUV left one man dead and sent two other people to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Bandera Road in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when the van they were driving allegedly hit a pickup truck head-on while driving the wrong way on Bandera Road. After the initial collision, an SUV hit the back of the pickup truck. Paramedics rushed the driver of the van to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival. Two other people were treated for unspecified injuries, but police did not specify which vehicle they were in at the time of the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northwest side of San Antonio.
