Details:
On or about Sunday, June 6th, 2021, just before midnight, a single-vehicle rollover accident left one person dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Interstate 45 near the Fallbrook Drive exit in Houston, Texas.
Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when the U-haul van they were driving allegedly veered off the side of Interstate 45 and rolled several times. Emergency responders pronounced one person in the van dead at the scene of the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries in their initial statement on the crash.
Interstate 45 runs north and south through Houston, with the exit for Fallbrook Drive situated a short distance north of downtown Houston, according to Google Maps.
Authorities are still examining the cause of the accident.
