On or about Thursday, May 5th, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a work truck and a pedestrian left one individual dead. Local law enforcement spokespeople said the accident was reported along Lennon Way in San Jose, California.
Officers from the San Jose Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly pinned against a parked car by a backing work truck at a new home construction site on Lennon Way. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in the Willow Glen neighborhood.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
