On or about Wednesday, April 28th, 2021, around 8:47 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a work truck left one individual dead. Troopers from the DPS said the accident happened in the 9200 block of Research Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when their pickup truck was allegedly struck by a work truck. Officers did not clarify the events that culminated in the accident, or the factors that may have contributed. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the pickup truck dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the north side of Austin, not far from the exchange with Mopac Expressway.
