A wrong way driver was killed and another person injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15, near Kelbaker Road, in Baker, CA. California Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 9:56 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The wrong way driver was reportedly travelling south in the northbound lanes when they first hit a vehicle. After this they collided with a semi-truck, which was pulling an Amazon trailer. They were pronounced dead at the scene, and one person was extricated from their vehicle with undisclosed injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the accident.
