One person was killed in a collision with a stopped semi-truck along Interstate 80 at mile marker 245 near Overton, in Dawson County, NE. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office reports the accident took place around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, when a semi-truck was forced to stop for another semi-truck that had stopped earlier. The first semi-truck was said to be blocking both westbound lanes, causing the second semi to stop, leading to the crash. Authorities have yet to release the name of the driver.
