One person was killed following a collision between their minivan and the vehicle of a Texas Department of Transportation subcontractor on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that the subcontractor’s vehicle was on its side and the minivan was on fire when they arrived at the scene. Identities have yet to be released and the investigation is ongoing.
