Details:

One man was killed in a semi-truck rollover accident on County Road 38 near Akron, IA. Deputies from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office say the crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

The semi was hauling a load of grain when it travelled off the road, rolling and trapping the driver. He was extricated from the vehicle and taken to a nearby hospital where he would later be pronounced dead. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
