A 62-year-old woman was injured after being struck by a school bus just before 8:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024. The Madison County Sheriff’s Office reports that the bus driver believed the intersection was a four-way stop, and entered the intersection believing the PT Cruiser would stop. Instead, the PT Cruiser struck the school bus, seriously injuring the driver, who was taken to nearby Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Approximately 17 students were on the bus at the time, but authorities report none were injured.
