The driver of a 2018 Ford Escape and her two child occupants were critically injured in a head-on collision with a propane truck at the intersection of Route 13 and Keller Pond Road near Painter, in Accomack County, VA. Virginia State Police report the accident occurred around 8:05 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Initial reports state the driver of the propane truck crossed the median into oncoming traffic, where it collided with the Ford before overturning in a ditch. The driver of the propane truck received serious injuries, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
