Details:
On or about Monday, October 4th, 2021, around 9:20 in the morning, an accident between a dump truck and a pedestrian in a construction zone left one man dead. Officials from the area said the accident was reported at a construction site in the 3000 block of WD Judge Drive in Orlando, Florida.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when they were allegedly struck by a dump truck as they were walking in a construction zone. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance northwest of downtown Orlando.
Police are still examining the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
