On or about February 28th, 2022, sometime in the early hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a cyclist claimed the life of a 56-year-old man. Officials from the OHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 412 in Siloam Springs, Oklahoma.
Police officers from the area said 56-year-old Owen Lee Stephens was killed when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer as he was riding his bike at or near the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 412. Paramedics pronounced Stephens dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Siloam Springs is about 186 miles east of downtown Oklahoma City.
