On or about Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, around 7:00 in the evening, an accident with an alleged racing driver left an 84-year-old man dead. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Forest Ridge Drive and State Highway 183 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Officers from the area said 84-year-old Paschual Neely was killed when his car was allegedly struck by a Dodge Charger that may have been racing a third, unknown car in the moments before the accident. Paramedics rushed Neely to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of Forest Ridge Drive and State Highway 183 is on the northeast side of Fort Worth.

Authorities have since charged the driver of the Dodge Charger with manslaughter in connection to the accident.
