On or about Thursday, September 30th, 2021, around 5:20 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a 29-year-old Dewitt man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 165 in Arkansas County, Arkansas.
Authorities from the area said 29-year-old Patravius Grayson was killed when his car allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 165 and struck a tractor-trailer. Emergency responders pronounced Grayson dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision in their initial statement.
According to Google Maps, Highway 165 runs north and south through Arkansas County, which is about 87 miles southeast of Little Rock.
Officials are examining the cause of the accident.
