On or about Monday, October 4th, 2021, around 8:20 at night, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left a 74-year-old woman dead. Officers from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 71 just outside Sauk Center in Getty Township, Minnesota.
Investigators said 74-year-old Patricia Mary Bromenshenkel was killed when her SUV allegedly collided with the back of a tractor-trailer that had just turned onto Highway 71. Emergency responders pronounced Bromenshenkel dead of her injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance outside of Sauk Center, which is situated about 109 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
