On or about Monday, November 22nd, 2021, around 9:30 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between a tractor-trailer towing a mobile home and an 18-wheeler sent a 46-year-old man to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported on the westbound side of Interstate 10 near the exchange with FM 1442 in Orange County, Texas.

Texas DPS Troopers said 46-year-old Paul Aubry was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the mobile home Aubry was towing behind a semi. After the initial collision, the towed mobile home flipped to one side, throwing the semi into a nearby barrier. The tractor-trailer that struck the towed mobile home fled the scene. Emergency responders transported Aubry to nearby Baptist Hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 10 cuts east and west through Orange County, which is about 103 miles east of downtown Houston.
