Details:
On or about Monday, January 24th, 2022, around 10:30 at night, a serious single-vehicle car accident left a 19-year-old boy. Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Veterans Memorial Drive in San Angelo, Texas.
Officers from the San Angelo Police Department said 19-year-old Paytum Morgan was killed when the passenger vehicle hew as in allegedly veered off the side of Veterans Memorial Drive when it crashed into the Concho River a short distance off the pavement. Emergency responders rushed Morgan to Shannon Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, San Angelo is about 211 miles northwest of San Angelo.
Authorities are still investigating.
