On or about Monday, February 8th, 2021, around 10:04 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a tanker truck left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Spokespeople from the WSP said the accident happened along Highway 33 just outside Fox Lake in Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin State Police said 60-year-old Perry Hotlink was killed when an 18-wheeler allegedly crossed over the center line of Highway 33 and struck the tanker truck he was driving. Emergency responders pronounced Hotlink dead a short time after the accident, Authorities identified the driver of the 18-wheeler as 73-year-old Wayne Hildebrandt, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after the accident.

Google Maps shows the scene of the accident is about 73 miles northwest of Milwaukee.

Police hope to release more information about the accident at a later date.
