On or about Wednesday, April 28th, 2021, around 7:20 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a police officer on a motorcycle sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Creekside Road and McBean Parkway in Satna Clarita, California.
Authorities said a police officer was injured when the motorcycle they were driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances at the intersection. Emergency responders rushed the officer to a nearby hospital where they were last reported in serious condition by medical staff. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the accident.
The intersection of McBean Parkway and Creekside Road is on the north side of Santa Clarita, which is about 33 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
Police are still investigating the incident.
