On or about Sunday, November 8th, 2020, around 7:15 in the evening, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent another to the hospital. Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened at the intersection of SH 350 and FM 700 in Howard County, Texas.

Authorities said Ramamurthy Hariharan was killed, while Shobha Hariharan was injured when their car allegedly failed to yield at the intersection before it collided with a tractor-trailer. Ramamurthy was pronounced dead at the scene, while Shobha was taken to a nearby hospital with incapacitating injuries.

Google Streetview shows Highway 350 is two lanes that run north and south, while FM 700 is also two lanes that run east and west. The intersection is not governed by a stoplight. Big Spring is located about 40 miles northeast of Midland.

Texas DPS Troopers are investigating the crash.
