Details:
On or about Friday, April 15th, 2022, sometime in the hours after dark, a major single-vehicle rollover accident left a man and a woman dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Farm-to-Market Road 490 in Hidalgo County, Texas.
Representatives from the Texas DPS said 50-year-old Ramon Garcia and an as-of-yet unidentified passenger were killed when the pickup truck they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and rolled while it may have been running from police. Garcia and his passenger died of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Harlingen.
