On or about Sunday, February 6th, 2022, in the early morning hours, a two-vehicle accident with an alleged drunk driver left a 24-year-old man dead. Authorities from the area said the accident was reported at the intersection of Franz Road and Westgreen Road in Katy, Texas.
Law enforcement officials said Renzo Olan Flores was killed when an alleged drunk driver ran a red light at the intersection of Franz Road and Westgreen Road. Emergency responders pronounced Flores dead of his injuries a short time after the collision. Police identified the driver of the other vehicle as Ilianna Zepeda, who currently faces charges of intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the far west side of the Houston area.
